About Us

We have an all female staff led by Dr. Andrea Lukes. We are excited to offer you personalized, expert care in a comfortable, welcoming environment, one that puts your health and wellness at the forefront. Our advanced care team is composed of board certified OB/GYN physicians, a family nurse practitioner, registered nurse, care coordinator, and medical assistant who collaborate together to meet your health care needs. 

Dr. Andrea Lukes established the CarolinaWomen's Research & Wellness Center (CWRWC) after completing 10 years at Duke University Medical Center (DUMC). She received her bachelor’s degree in religion from Duke University (1988), followed by a combined medical degree and master’s degree in statistics from Duke University (1994). She then completed her ObGyn residency at UNC (1988). While on faculty at DUMC, she co-founded and served as the Director of Gynecology for the Women’s Hemostasis and Thrombosis Clinic. She participated in research programs supported by the NIH and CDC, as well as conducting multiple industry sponsored FDA trials. She continues to actively consult with industry regarding development and implementation of research protocols, including communications and presentations to the FDA. She has participated in over 75 FDA approved clinical studies. 

 Scarlet Dial, FNP-BC, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who offers over 10 years of primary care experience along with advanced gynecological care. Scarlet has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University along with a bachelor's and master's degree in Nursing from Duke University. She provides expert care in treating anxiety, depression, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity along with IUD placement, care of abnormal pap smears and pelvic ultrasound. She does laser hair removal and cosmetic injections. Scarlet is also a Sub-Investigator on our clinical research studies and Director of Business Development for the clinic.


  Dr. Kristen Feldman is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist who joined CWRWC in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and her medical doctorate from Emory University. She then moved to the Triangle for her ObGyn residency at Duke University Medical Center, where she met Dr. Andrea Lukes. Following residency, she spent five years in private practice in Raleigh. Dr. Feldman enjoys caring for women of all ages; she has a focus on adolescents and young women after leading Women's Health at North Carolina State University's Student Health Services for eight years. Her particular areas of interest include contraception management using all available contraceptive options, menopause care, management of abnormal Pap smears and bleeding concerns, plus other routine gynecological care.
