Welcome to the new website for Carolina Women's Research and Wellness Center! We have an all-female staff dedicated to serving your women's health needs. Our center has two divisions in the same office space: a research side and a clinical side.
Our clinical side, Women's Wellness Clinic, provides GYN and primary care services to a wide variety of women with a wide variety of concerns. We treat problems including heavy or irregular periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal Pap tests, vaginal infections, and many more. Routine care such as annual wellness visits and a full range of contraceptive methods are also available. Our personal treatment of every patient as an individual is the hallmark of our office. Our clinicians are Duke- and UNC-trained, so we offer "big city" healthcare with a "small town" feel.
Our research side, the Carolina Women's Research Center, offers paid enrollment in clinical research trials to study a wide range of women's health problems. Over the years, we have been involved in more than 75 FDA-approved studies discovering new treatment options for fibroids, migraines, endometriosis, heavy bleeding, and hot flashes, to name a few. We are proud to be advancing medical knowledge while also offering new treatment options to our patients!
